The Future - The Island
After we got back from the school we started making sketches of the characters, backgrounds and scenes for the film. We then scanned them into the computer and added in the colour in photoshop. We are planning to use these to animate into the film however we may change this as none of our group is very experienced with animation so we could use green screen or stop motion to create the characters. I also made the the title of the film 'The Island' as requested by the kids. I created it online and used a camo print to fill in the text as they wanted Karl (the main character) to have a camo top but we couldn't add this to the cartoons. I first added a green background so we could remove it in post and put it anywhere on the screen but I realised that this may remove some of the camo print so I created another using a blue background.
