The Island - Final Piece

This is my final edit for The Future project. This was definitely not my favourite project in terms of end result but this whole experience has been really valuable. When I first read the kids ideas I was a bit worried about how we could make this film, there was so many things they wanted and they were very specific about what they wanted them to look like. Although most of the things they wanted sounded impossible, we managed to create most of what they wanted with either green screen effects or animating it ourselves. Having to make all these abstract ideas was really difficult but it has taught me a lot about premier pro and animation that I can use in future projects. We had to change lots of ideas mid project, for example, we were originally going to animate the characters but we soon realised that we wouldn't get that done in time for the deadline so we changed it to filming the children that wanted to be in the film with green screen and adding them in post.
