ARTiculation

ARTiculation is a national public speaking contest for 16-17 year olds to give a short presentation on an artist of their choice to win cash prizes. You can find more about this contest by clicking the picture of ARTiculation.

In order to introduce us to this contest we all made a presentation on an artist that we picked from a list. We then presented to small groups.

Personally this didn't really help me with my presentation skills as I'm already confident with researching, displaying information and presenting, however I think it was useful to others in my class who were not as comfortable talking to a group. I think I'm okay with talking to a large group of people however when I do I need to focus on what I'm saying as I usually keep talking instead of giving them the information I've presented.
