I wanted to get a rough idea of what I wanted to film on Dartmoor so I decided to go up and take lots of pictures of the landscapes and wildlife. This was inspired by the Plymouth Recce I had done with my group the other week. I found that this technique is really useful as it gives you the opportunity to look around the area and gather ideas for your film. I tried to take as many as I could that related to my three main concepts: symmetry, colour scheme and loneliness/detachment.
