I am going to present my final video on a laptop/computer in the summer show space as this would be the way it's likely to be viewed by Ocean Housing's target audience. Ocean Housing's target audience for this video are young families looking to buy their first home and families who are currently renting who don't realise they could save money with the shared ownership scheme. Ocean Housing will be showing this video on their Youtube.com channel as well as their website and other social media accounts, they will also potentially send the video via email to potential customers. I think this is the best course of action as this way the video will reach as many people as possible and will give them the opportunity to interact with the company online. I wanted to make sure that they could do this so I made sure to include the company name and their contact details as none of their previous video had this information.

If this advert were being shown professionally on TV I think the best channels for it would be on ITV and Channel 4 during the evening or alternatively as an advert on Facebook/Twitter, these channels and websites are used frequently by Ocean Housings target audience(young families) as they provide a range of content for a wide range of ages. The time slot is also important as these families are likely to be working class and so would be more likely to watch TV in the evening after work.

I think the final video has a nice balance between creativity and being corporate friendly. I wanted to ensure that the video wouldn't be too scripted and overtly happy, which is often the case in corporate videos. I made sure to include genuine smiles and laughter in the scenes with people in and use music that has a positive vibe to it but isn't too cheesy. Throughout this project I felt the company gave me lots of control in how the end result would be like and mainly guided me on how they wanted their company represented as well as the information included in the video.
