Production Diary - Extra Shots

In response to Ocean Housings review of my last edit I went down to Bodmin for a final time to film the extra shots they asked for. I knew that there would be lots of people to film so I asked another student to help me shoot everything, this meant I had two angles for most of the shots which gave me more to choose from when editing. The filming went well however it was a little unorganised at the start as some people were late. However, we just moved on to a different scene while we waited for them. During the shoot I was a little apprehensive to film the children and the dogs as I haven't had much experience filming them, however, the kids were really well behaved and did exactly what we needed them to do. The same can't be said for the dogs, especially when they were let off the lead, who were really hard to track as they ran around randomly. This was helped slightly by having two cameras running at the same time but due I don't think the shots turned out as good as they could have done. Therefore I'll probably leave those shots out of the final edit.
